Well, I’m pretty much a skeptic on most of this types of things. But, I decided to give it a try because someone I trust told me about it.

WOW!! Am I glad I did. I tried it for just 10 minutes and I could feel my head tingling. It was a very strange feeling. It was pretty wild!

I know you’re trying to accomplish more in less time. Plus, I’m gussing, most of you are also balancing the dreaded JOB and family life as well!

Give this a try. You don’t have anything to loose - it’s got a 100% satisfaction guarentee.

Wouldn’t you try something that would help your creativity, take away the stress, help you to relax, or get a better nights sleep just putting on your headphones?

Check it out at Totally Tranquil.

This is technology which tunes your brain into the Theta Phase - which is when creative thoughts can come to the surface. Check out the material and you’ll understand why you get great ideas while driving or in the shower! That is why I love long road trips by myself. I often come up with really great ideas!!

What’s not to like about it… sit in front of your computer with a set of stereo headphones and listen to brainwave bending music that will energize you!?!?

Hey, remember, I’m a skeptic, and I tried it! So jump over to Totally Tranquil and get your free demo.

Let me know how it worked for you.

Do you ever worry that someone is getting the jump on you? That what you want to do has all ready been done? Do you get anxious just reading your emails thinking you’re never going to be able to compete with them and you’ll never be able to be successful online?

Yea, me too. :-(

But then I give myself a good shake and get back to work.

This is what you need to remember:

* just because you know about a specific product doesn’t mean everyone else does

* just because you’ve seen similar products doesn’t mean you can’t do it better

* there are millions of new users online each day - new people that have never seen anyone else’s products before and could just as easily find YOUR product first!

Discover something you enjoy doing and then find a way to take that skill/knowledge to help others online. Find a problem and solve it with your knowledge!

Stop jumping on every new trend! Focus on one thing until it’s successful. If at first it isn’t, then tweak it, and try again. If it works, no matter how small, then tweak it and make it better.

When I finally stopped jumping from idea to idea and started focusing on one thing… one thing I’m good at, did I finally start to see success.

And that is what I want to pass on to you… success! Stop spending time reading all of those emails that come into your inbox (I have). Take that time to work on YOUR product!

Success doesn’t happen overnight. No matter how much everyone wants to try and convince you it can happen with a single product. Yes, a single product has the potential to make you thousands of dollars overnight… that is if you’ve worked hard to build up a responsive list! So many people that are grabbing on to those products haven’t yet done the backend work, and therefore are very disappointed with the results … or lack of results.

I know you would all like to just have it happen, but like everything else in life, you get out of it what you put into it.

Check out this book and find the confidence to know that YOU can be successful!

The Attractor Factor by Joe Vitale

P.S. I only recommend books I’ve read.

Family Brain Trust

Earlier this summer it was a rare moment when my two brothers and I had time to sit down and brain storm on internet marketing ideas. All three of us bring a different set of skills to the table. Mom snapped this picture while we were chatting.

Jeff is the idea man… he has more ideas than any of us can possibly implement. I keep telling him to keep a journal so he doesn’t lose track of those ideas. He’s also the one that saw the direction internet marketing was going when it first started. He was talking about affiliate marketing for years. It just took me until last year to finally ‘get it.’

Brad is the technology expert… his preference is anything Microsoft, but he can pull his own when it comes to Unix as well. He’s the coder and architect. He comes from a consulting background so is great at ideas and business as well. Jeff and I finally got Brad interested in the internet marketing side of things.

Me, well, I’m the middle man… I understand the business side of things as well as the technology side (also currently a technology consultant). I’m not as strong with the coding as Brad (not by a long shot), but know enough to be dangerous. I’m also the one that is more apt to pull things together and get things done.

When our sister, Tammy, chooses to join the mix she’ll bring writing skills to the table.

With all of that coming from one family, we figure how can we not be successful. Now we just need the one thing that all of us are short on… TIME! :-(

Stay tuned to see what we do over the next year!

I’m not big on watching forums and checking up on peoples blogs as it takes up too much of my precious time. But, there are a few blogs that I check daily. One of them is Woody Maxims - he ALWAYS provides me with food for thought for the day.

Today he has an interesting post related to his cousin, John, the snowboarder. Check out the post here What can a snowboarder teach you about business?

It was interesting enough… but the really good stuff was in the link he gave to Why You Should Lose $200-$300 Per Month.

So go try and loose a couple a hundred a month and learn about business instead! It will reward you in time.

Take a Break - Enjoy Life

I’ve been pushing hard the last couple of months to get my first product completed, and I’m almost there. You’d think I’d get that extra spurt of energy needed to just push through and get it done. Instead, I was tired and cranky! Finally, after some pushing from my husband, I took some time off this week. A shopping trip with my nephews, read the last Harry Potter book, and did some needlework.

We hear it all the time in the material we read. How so and so works 18 hour days, and this person spends all weekend doing this, that and the other thing, and how it is really important to focus on this work if you are going to be successful. And yes, I know it’s tough when you are trying to make it online at the same time you are working a full time job - I’m right there with you!!! BUTTTT… they don’t tell you they do take breaks once in a while and they do have other things they ned to take care of. It’s easy to forget that when we’re reading how successful someone is or became because of all the time they spent on their business.

Unless you’re young and single and don’t care if your if you live in a pig-pen, there are other things we all need to do. Most of us probably have spouses that would like some of our time (I know mine does!), and laundry to do, or yard work, or clean the house. You get it… everything else doesn’t stop just so that we can focus on building a business!

After taking a weekend to get some other things done around the house that were nagging at the back of my mind, and taking time for sitting on the couch with my needlework, a good movie, my husband and my dog I felt much more focused this morning.

Now I remember the things that I want to do more of and why I need to push through the work now to make that happen!

We all need to work hard at making it online (or what ever you are trying to achieve), but we also need to remember that life doesn’t stop and we still need to enjoy things. Otherwise you’ll get frustrated and wonder why you’re even doing it.

So take a break once in a while - we all need it. Work will be there when you get back to it and you’ll be in a better mind set to focus on it when you do get back to it.
